Stephen & Michelle Volante

We called Pastor Stephen Volante to be our senior pastor on July 1, 2019. His greatest joys are his family, preaching God’s Word, discipleship, and planting churches. Steve and his wife Michelle are blessed with 7 children, 5 grandchildren, and many adopted children in Africa. Our pastor came to us with 28 years of pastoral and missions experience. He has served in New England as a youth pastor; in Africa for 24 years as a missionary; and in Arlington, Texas, as the General Director of Mount Abarim Baptist Mission. Before Steve became our senior pastor, our church supported and visited his ministry in Ghana for over 16 years. Because of a very special friendship with our former senior pastor, Kim Hayes, God led Steve and Michelle to move their membership to Bible Baptist Church.

            With all his heart, Steve believes the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives! He has a heart to help rescue broken marriages through passionate biblical counseling. He believes the truth of God’s Word can set free those who are caught in addictions. He believes that a healthy church will naturally give birth to new churches, both here at home and around the world. Steve and Michelle have a heart and burden for the city of Chickasha to be a great place to raise our families and impact the world.
